"Copy for AI" (the "Extension") does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, browsing history, or website content to any external servers. All processing happens locally on your device.
2. Permissions Usage
- ActiveTab / Scripting: Used solely to read the text you have selected or the main content of the article you are viewing for the purpose of cleaning formatting. This data is effectively "forgotten" immediately after the cleaning process is complete.
- Clipboard: Used to write the cleaned text to your clipboard so you can paste it elsewhere.
- Context Menus: Used to add the "Copy Clean" option to your right-click menu.
3. Third-Party Services
The Extension may contain links to external websites (e.g., for donations). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites.
